The Studio is a collaborative effort between UVA Innovates and UVA’s Licensing & Venture Group. We are already collaborating across Grounds and the broader Charlottesville community to share information and opportunities with our faculty, research staff and graduate students. • Ongoing: LVG partner CvilleBioHub is recruiting companies for their new Commonwealth BioAccelerator, a state-of-the-art wet lab space with equipment, specialized programming, and mentorship that is dedicated to advancing high-potential life sciences startups in Central Virginia.
• January 27, 2026: 3rd Annual CvilleBioHub Device and Tech Expo
• April 22: Advancing Discoveries and Driving Innovation - informal opportunity to connect with the research community and foster collaboration across Grounds, hosted by VPR's office
• April 23: Galant Challenge - annual event for UVA startups to pitch to investors - call for pitches is live (due 3/1/26)
