The Studio is a collaborative effort between UVA Innovates and UVA’s Licensing & Venture Group. We are already collaborating across Grounds and the broader Charlottesville community to share information and opportunities with our faculty, research staff and graduate students. • Now: LVG partner CvilleBioHub is recruiting companies for their new Commonwealth BioAccelerator, a state-of-the-art wet lab space with equipment, specialized programming and mentorship that is dedicated to advancing high-potential life sciences startups in Central Virginia.
• July 1: Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation hosts "Intro to TABA for SBIR/STTR Applicants and Awardees Seminar." (TABA stands for Technical and Business Assistance.)
• July 24: Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation hosts "NSF SBIR/STTR Proposal Prep Workshop."
• August 26: CvilleBioHub hosts "Founders on the Brain: Case Studies in Healthcare Entrepreneurship."
• August 27: Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation hosts "DOD SBIR/STTR Proposal Planning Workshop."
• September 18: CvilleBioHub hosts "2025 BioSpark at BioDiscovery."
